Kneeler Goup 2014

We are a small group of friendly ladies who meet informally, fortnightly on the first and third Thursday afternoons of each month, from 2.00-4.00pm in St. Matthew's Church Hall.

Many kneeler pads have been donated and worked for church in memory of loved ones, and are a constant reminder to their families when they attend church. Currently (January 2014) we have three kneelers being worked, and are renovating existing ones which require attention.

We have recorded information about existing kneelers as far as possible.

We are also working on a Noah's Ark Tapestry, which it is hoped will eventually be hung in church.

Our members have a significant input into the organisation of the Church Harvest Supper and the distribution of Harvest gifts in October and the Autumn Fayre in November.

New members and visitors are always welcome to see and share what we are doing, and are welcome to bring their own needlework, knitting or craftwork, or just call and have a chat and a cup of tea and a biscuit.
