Centenary Year

1911 - 2011

This year our Branch is proud to celebrate 100 years of Mothers’ Union membership in this Parish. 

On 27^th October we plan to celebrate this momentous event in style with a special Service at 2pm in St Matthew’s Church:

To be followed by an Afternoon Tea Party in St Matthew’s School Hall.

This event will provide an opportunity for us to meet up with members past and present, as well as with Mothers’ Union representatives from Chester Diocese and Great Budworth Deanery.  Together with invited guests from our Parishes of St Matthew’s and St Cross.

Loving Lord,
We thank you for your love so freely given to us all.
We pray for families around the world.
Bless the work of the Mothers' Union
as we seek to share your love
through the encouragement, strengthening
and support of marriage and family life.
Empowered by your Spirit,
may we be united in prayer and worship,
and in love and service reach out
as your hands across the world.
